Feature Request: toolbar options - Page 2

After looking at the other toolbar groupings, that one appears to be the only one that really needs splitting up. I will push this to master for the next release.

I would be happy editing the main.ui file, but "rebuilding from source" sounds a little to _nix-ish for my Windows sensibilities!

The Edit group was the biggest one, the File group had a few extra icons (new 2, new 3, open) that I never used, but I can just turn off that group and use keyboard shortcuts for Save and Add Existing.

AddExisting

I would appreciate this change very much. Would you also consider having the Find group include two buttons: regular Find & Replace and Saved Searches?

Okay I have pushed these change to master. There is now better granularity in ToolBar area groupings to allow better user customization.

I could NOT add "Saved Searches ..." to the tool bar as there is no existing icon for it. If someone would donate a colour matching appropriate icon for "Saved Searches ..." that looks good under both Light and Dark modes, I will add it. Please do not use/borrow someone else's icon as we do not want any external licensing issues. We would need 16x16px, 22x22px, and 48x48px png files.

All of the other changes we talked about have now been added:

File has been split into (New, File, and AddExisting).

Edit has been split into (Undo/Redo, Edit, XEditor, and Find)

Note, since this extends set of toolbars, users of the next release will have to play around with the View->Toolbars menu along with Drag and Dropping to get things to exactly the way they want them.

Yes. That was my first thought. Do we not save "favourite" searches?
Pressing this icon is associated with "show me favourite searches".

I found a magnifying glass with a plus sign in it as a Saved Search icon on the Internet. Maybe something like the attached version might work.

Due to licensing concerns, borrowing an icon from the internet, is not possible, Very few are GPL and most have other strange licenses with advertising clauses and other things that simply are not worth it for a simple icon. I would much rather we develop our own icons so that they can be used by Sigil freely.
