I have the new features on all three of my Kindles now, an Oasis, a Voyage and a PW4. I have different figures for Unread, Books and Docs over the three devices. Hopefully, one day, they may all show the same.

Yeah I almost think when it appears must be related to one's account. For me, the feature lit up nearly a week after a lot of other people and then it when it did, it appeared on two different types of devices within less than 24 hours.

My Oasis2 is doing it like always, not like the picture. On that picture it looks like "note" is selected with that arrow on the bottom. I can't even replicate that. Is that when there is already a note somewhere? I don't take notes so I don't know how that looks.

It is not a bug, it is a feature. It is pretty neat, actually. Makes it easier to accurately define a highlight.

Both my Oasis and new Paperwhite show highlights like yours. Also they both have the new read/unread feature. Until today, it was just my Paperwhite that had this feature.

My PW4 is highlighting and looking up words as it always has. I don't understand what you are saying about the left margin.
