RPi 4 uses USB-C for power now, iirc. I believe the RPi Zero's an older model though.

When I ordered the Zero I had no idea how old it was. Looking at the picture it certainly looked like usb c. Likewise I assumed that the hdmi connector was the micro hdmi that's on the pi 4 but when it arrived I was annoyed to discover that it was mini hdmi. I didn't even know that there was a 3rd hdmi type.

For some reason I'm a bit mesmerized by these little computers. I shouldn't be given that my android phone is running linux, although it's buried away and not easily accessible.

The first unix workstation I used was a Sun, with a Motorola 68020. That cpu's physical size was at least as big as the Zero's board. And the Sun had something like 4 meg of ram. But it ran BSD unix just fine. With the generic/vanilla MIT X11.

My phone frequently changes "were" to "we're" regardless of context. So annoying.

When I type "I've" on my smartphone it indicates that "'ve" is misspelled.

I was texting my partner when she was away on a trip. She asked me if she woke me up since it was quite late. My reply was that I was in bed, but awake and reading. Her reply back was 3 big laughing emoticons. When I asked what was so funny, she told me to look at my reply to her. The autocorrect had changed my comment of 'in bed' and changed it to 'inbred'. I proof read my texts a lot more carefully now.

...I'd expect "in bed" to be used orders of magnitude more often than "inbred"... unless you *really* mangled the spelling

Once, I accidentally wiped my custom dictionary and I think half of the fanfic I was working on became red squiggles.

What's frustrating for me is that when I'm texting I can't add words to it's dictionary. It wouldn't be a problem if "oh, it doesn't know that word, I'll add it" and then it knows the word is spelled correctly. But it only offers suggestions or the option of deleting the word.
