I put the 'Kindle for iPad' app on the iPad but the mobi eBook still wouldn't open

Then I said to myself: if all else fails, read the directions I know it's abhorrent to all males to read the directions but I was getting nowhere fast ! So, following the directions, I clicked the little square with an arrow coming out of it and then clicked on the three little circles that said 'open in' Clicked on Kindle and voila my eBook happily opened I know my way around Windows and Android but I'm finding the iPad a bit of a learning curve Just upgraded to i.o.s.8 successfully, so I must be getting better, though I think the iPad did most of that ! |

I'm not a huge fan of the Amazon Kindle reading app. I do read kindle books on it, but if you have mobi files you are opening from Dropbox....then perhaps you can use Calibre to convert the files to epub. Then use the much better Marvin ebook app
