Question stylesheet link missing in coverpage: intended or not?
During touch-up of e-books with calibre, or the calibre-editor I noticed that for some reason the cover page is sometimes "freed" from the original stylesheet reference so I have to add it (again) via the editor "link stylesheet" option.

Is this intentionally (under the assumption that the cover page should not need a stylesheet)?

Polish books for instance removes the link when "updating the cover page".

I believe the titlepage and Jacket are self supporting (stylewise).

There would be no way calibre would be aware of what customized styles (classes) you had previously assigned.

The titlepage is always replaced entirely, so the newpage has no connection whatsoever with the old.
