Yes

You can do a shipping estimate on the site. $9.95 was the charge to ship to Minnesota.

Geez... lighten up a little here peeps! First impressions do have a great effect on any relationship. If the first impression is not a good one, especially one dealing with a potential monetary expenditure, chances are that the sale would not happen. That is a fact of business.

Your all caps on that line is hysterical. Am I supposed to hear "dun dun dun" over an email that wasn't answered? Ridiculous. The story of the founding of Greenlight was even covered in the New York Tines: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/19/ny...city.html?_r=0

Note: I have nothing to do with Greenlight, never even shopped there, but had to answer this post.

If you want to know if they have something in stock why not call them instead of assuming they're trying to shaft you ferchrissakes?

So what? How about this, my friend:

The point is that if they can't be concerned with sending out an email, then I will not buy from them. I would warn everyone here to be careful with them.

Here you go: WARNING!
(I like to keep members laughing)

Thank you for your courteous response.

Actually, I have dual residency, since I live in both the United States and in Peru.

If I order, I would simply ship it to my home address in the U.S. and then pick it up during my next trip back (or else I would have one of sisters mail it to me here).

Again, thank you for your helpful reply.

You can try greenapplebooks.com (San Francisco based, http://www.greenapplebooks.com/kobo-...nd-accessories) They probably have Aura in stock and they are fast in replying. Shipping is only in US (and Canada) and is free (for ground shipping)

And now, when I go to "Where to Buy", the United States isn't even listed (for any of the devices).

On the bright side, an app for the blackberry ten has been released:

I bought my Aura direct from Kobo a few weeks ago and it was a slow, agonizing wait for it to arrive. But once it did I can honestly say it was worth every second. I absolutely love this thing. My wife, who has been reading on her Nook ST (like mine, with no light) was totally skeptical and thought I was silly for wanting a new ereader. To say that she was won over is an understatement. So I need to get her one now.

Fortunately, a local bookstore here in Denver (Tattered Cover) whom I had contacted originally about purchasing mine (only to discover they didn't carry them) has emailed me back and said that they are getting some in shortly and they are holding one for me for pickup as soon as they come in. So local stores around the country should have them soon I'd imagine.

My wife is now the one waiting anxiously.

"Where to buy" now lists North America, and the "Independent Booksellers" link is working.
