Kobo Glo and Calibre 0.9.16

I was bragging about how great Calibre was at managing books on my Koko reader. (first generation)

A co-worker asked what it was and how it worked. So I down loaded a few books to a thumb drive and the next day (today) went to show her how easy it was. All the books on her Glo were visible on the device and I sent them to the library.

After adding the books from the thumb drive to the library I showed her how to add 1 book to her Glo then disconnecting and starting to view the book. We hooked it back up so she could do the process herself. To my HORROR her books in device were no longer visible in Calibre at all.

The library was visible but no green check. No books on device. Disconnect and the books are on her Glo. Reconnect with the USB cable and no books on device.

My Kobo Reader first generation works fine. Not so the GLO.

Calbire is is just NOT working and of course I'm now the idiot who advises using a program that doesn't work.

If you have a Glo what is your solution to viewing the books on the device?

There was a bug in the first release of 0.9.16 today but that had been resolved now. Try a red download / install.
