The Storm Protocol by Iain Cosgrove

So, I wrote my third novel - The Storm Protocol.

Rather than torture myself with months of self doubt and self loathing, I sent it to some agents in the UK. Three Agents asked for the full manuscript but as ever, their lists were full, or it wasn't quite right for them.....

This being third time lucky (same story with the first two novels I sent to agents over a ten year period) I said, no, this time I'm going to give it a go.

I fancy myself as a bit of a writer (obviously!) and have had some short stories accepted for publication, both online and in print (a google search with my name will dig up a couple).

About three years ago, I wrote a short story for a throwaway competition on a writers forum (rated by other writers in the same competition, and incidently it won.) The subject you had to write about was "The Gathering Storm".

One of the comments I received on the site was "Is that the start of something? I could read a book of that," so I thought, "what if......?"

It's here if anyone is interested:-
