Font packages ready-made for easy installing
Hello all!
I've tried to produce a couple of font packages for easy-installing into PRS+. Each package includes 4 fonts (regular, bold, italic and bold-italic) and 3 CSS-files for 3 different font-sizes. Installing is very easy, just copy the content of the package onto the reader. Sizes are choosen to allow 3 intermediate stages of each Sony-font-size (e.g. from X and M there are now 3 steps, not just one). CSS-files are not perfect of course and express my taste and knowledge. Try it out if you want. More packages if you ask... Additionally you can find on the web-page custom builds of PRS+ to give an impression what will come in future releases of PRS+. Be aware of possible bugs. I hope the developer team doesn't have something against it. But as a huge fan of PRS+ I like it to make advertising for this great piece of software. Where to find? http://erhartc.bplaced.net/ereader/ A. Last edited by Analogus; 01-14-2012 at 10:36 PM. |

Everything's working as expected, and installation was painless. And the fonts make a huge difference in my everyday reading experience -- both in terms of aesthetics and providing much-needed size increments on the PRS-350. The result's not only easier on the eyes but also nicer to look at.

Hi
That depends on what you HAVE: 1) Using ZORK-edition: there is a point in PRS+ options and you simply can choose JUSTIFICATION there. It works in lots but no all ebooks. 2) Using NORMAL edition of PRS+: you have to change the CSS-file in the font package (or whatever CSS file you use). Change 'text-align: left' to 'text-align: justify; '. That should work in lots but no all ebooks. Summing up written: Responsible in any case is the/a CSS file. If justification doesn't work, you would have to alter this file(s) in appropriate manner (tons of information to be found here in this forum). One reason for making my own version of PRS+ (ZORK) was to have a simpler solution to choose between sizes and justifications. A. PS: Ah, if you have an eReader past X50-line (T1, T2) forget all those... It will not work cause of a different operation system. Last edited by Analogus; 09-01-2012 at 05:49 AM. |

Thanks. Only one word needs changing. Not too hard.
