I don't see them over reacting on the thread. They are getting their Fire replaced and the new ones though it takes 1 to 2 replacements tries doesn't have the issue. Mine doesn't have that issue. Not many Fire owners here have that issue. Call Amazon they will tell you it's not suppose to do that. Let's hope Amazon tracks down the problem quickly.

I just went and looked at the pics. I think it looks pretty bad, I'd definitely get it replaced if it was mine.

I just called to get it replace, the screen also had a yellow tint around the edge that I didn't notice until I started using it to read. I hope the next one has no problems.
