Is there a way for Sigil to automatically replace 'spaces' with 'underscores' in the filenames? ..Or Calibre (since I first reconvert them to clean up some code) Quote:
So the answer is yes, I suppose. Its not the plugin's error after all. Thanks for the answers.

My PEz (older MRSDK) will not 'bookmark' (usably) if there are spaces in the filename(s) Under_scores or MixedCase always works for me. BTW I have probably use the Bookmark all of 10 times since 2010

As a workaround, I'd advise unchecking the "remove unmanifested" option for your initial pass. After that, open the book in calibre's editor and change any bad filenames there. Using "Check book" will alert you to any unused files (which is a pretty rare thing, at least in my experience) and give you an opportunity to deal with them. |

Would this idea be any easier? I was thinking that code could be written to fix the filenames with spaces by replacing the space with an underscore before any of the other routines are run and then the rest of the code can work on the ePub without this bug cropping up as the affected filenames will have been fixed. The filenames would have to be fixed wherever they are found. and if a %20 is in place of a space, it too would have to be fixed. if this isn't something you want to do or feel you can do, we'll either have to wait for Kiwi to return or someone else to take on the job.

That's why I came up with another suggestion that might or might not be feasible.

@JSWolf,
It might help if you think of it this way: Rev. Bob had one contribution to make to this plugin, and now officially has nothing whatsoever to do with it. Just because someone once helps you, does not put them under any obligation to help you again. Stop demanding things of people who have no reason to give them. Either that, or buzz off. Or invent a mind-control machine that enables you to force people to do things that you think they should do.\ Any way you slice it, Rev. Bob still has no interest in doing anything (unless he spontaneously decides to, which I guarantee will happen or not happen with absolutely zero consultation of your opinions). |

And don't misquote me. I said Quote:
"Stop demanding things of people ..." != "Stop demanding things of people [qualifications]" |
