Kindle Screensaver Preferences?

I was trying to figure out how to change my Kindle email address only to find out they removed that feature and they now all share the same email but below on MYK, Manage Your Devices settings page I found a setting that says

Kindle Screensaver Preferences
under it has different options o

"I like to see more of"
and
"I like to see less of"

The boxes to check are like People\Nature\Travel...etc

Is this a Special Offers thing or a new feature?

I hadn't noticed that before you mentioned it, but then I rarely go to that page. I checked a few items I want to see more. I doubt it will matter on the SO models like I've got, but it doesn't hurt to try.

It wasn't on my account two days ago. I'm pretty sure I would of notice it so I figured it was SO thing but maybe not?

Could the new Kindles going to have it screensavers downloaded like a KSO does just not with ads?

It would make perfect sense. People have been asking for customized screensavers for very long time. Perhaps in time amazon will let you upload your pictures into their cloud storage and set them as screensavers.

It may be for K4 only or Special Offers then. I just know it's new for my account.

I noticed that I am able to do this now also. But, I have a Kindle Fire on order and wonder if it may be for the new Kindles.

I don't have my K4 yet but it's a Special Offers K4 so I don't think I will see any of it just the Ads.

I see it in my MYD page. I own/have registered a K3 SO, a K4 SO, and I have a Kindle Fire pre-ordered. I doubt this is for the KSO models as they use ads. Perhaps it has to do with the KFire. However, an Android LCD device doesn't use screensavers when put in sleep mode. So maybe it is for the non-SO models of the E Ink Kindles.

EDIT: BTW, It has not made any changes to my ad screensavers.

I don't know now! Can someone who has ordered a Non Special Offers K4 confirm they have this settings in their MYK page? It will help us know what the heck it is for.
