I was looking around at different "Dresden" action and/or gaming figures found on the interwebs and almost every one of them have him:

1. Wearing a hat
2. Holding a shotgun
3. Holding a blasting rod with the end in flames like a torch

I get the hat thing with the book covers like they are and maybe the flames on the blasting rod representing his use of fire magic (maybe), but what's the deal with the shotgun? Am I forgetting something from one of the books?

In White Night during the battle in the Deeps Harry borrowed a shotgun.

Possibly they're attempting to mimic the cover art of Cold Days.

What's with this talk about El Dorado? Are you referring to the 1960's Howard Hawks movie...or is there some other more up-to-date El Dorado I'm unaware of?
