It works like a charm for .pdf files. I'd love to see the same fullscreen for Mobilpocket .prc files too.

This may sound like a daft question, but ... if I buy a second-hand Book Edition, will I be able to implement the full screen mod the same as with a normal Iliad?

Erm ... are you sure, zerospinboson? I only ask because I went ahead and bought that Book Edition this afternoon (not cheap, either!) Once I'd paid, I stumbled upon this thread:

Where I found this very ominous quote from a Mr Goodbar:

Also, the fullscreen ipdf doesn't seem to want to work on it. I've installed shell access, but I can't seem to get any of the replacement ipdf's to work. Everything appears to be standard 2.12 software, even the wireless settings are there in the setup screens.

Somebody tell me this isn't so! Without the full-screen mod, this thing will be useless to me, and I will have to go through all the hassle and expense of selling it on again.

Has anyone actually got full-screen working on the Book Edition?
