Well they reached the price point I predicted 6 months ago before it released.
If they'd add even 2 more formats I'd consider it. But I just don't see myself converting my library just so I can use a Mini instead of a JBL. |

Just the addition of epub would help convince me. Or at least the option of a serif font--I'd consider converting books to .txt if the Mini gave me a nice, readable Times Roman font. I just can't deal with reading books in sans serif fonts.

I wouldn't get one of those for the same reasons. The nice thing about the Jetbook is the many formats it supports! Why take a step backward and get one that supports only 2? And I think its wrong of them to claim these other formats are supported via conversion by Calibre in their advertisement. Who wants to take all those extra steps--reminds me of my nice but very limited ebookwise, where I had to convert a book 3 or 4 times just to get it into the format for the reader. No thanks!

The main reason I am interested in the Mini, even with 1000s of books already in epub, is the long battery life and the user replaceable batteries. I already have two JBLs. At $70 I can always find a use for another reader. If they had picked Epub instead of FB2 I would already own one.

Free booklight added to deal
Newegg just added the earlight to the JB Mini at the same low price.
