Yes, because everyone knows how unruly and destructive I am.

The only nasty posts on that board are from the moderator. He wants to make that board about him. When someone dared to say that all parties should come down, he went off on them saying not to equate him with a troll. (An upstanding member of this forum.) He's made a point of keeping that thread up so people can see how badly he's been treated. If he were more concerned about a board than himself, he'd be cultivating a community, not making it all about himself.

That's cool. He can do what he wants. I just won't partake. Quote me word for word here if you want. I didn't say anything mean. I said I didn't like how he ran things, being overly snarky at what I perceived (and what I believe was intended) to be a neutral comment that he simply didn't like. And I even said his heart might be in the right place, and he might not even realize it but he's coming across as if he cares more about moderation than a community. Anyone truly interested in fostering a community would want to know that.

I know I was a bit rude, but have you read my posts, I was beginning to believe that I was a bit mean, but looking back at them I too believe that he did go overboard(also note that this was an exchange between me and him only until he dragged other into it, had I known that those forums had a PM system I would have used it, it is rather hidden):

Do we really need ANOTHER board for the edge, I've seen this kind of stuff kill off communities before, why let it happen with the edge? We already have the official edge forums, the xda forums, and the mobile read, why do we need another? I too have been backing up the official forums, and should they go down I will mirror them on my own server, I don't see why we need this, its only spreading the community apart.

The official forum will probably shut down within a few days. I'm glad you're saving the archives from there, as they may prove to be highly useful. The official forum has provided the best support and community for the Entourage Dualbook, there is no other board that even comes close, and that includes the ones you mentioned.

So, rather than killing off the eDGe community, I am attempting to keep it going at full blast.

Should for some reason, the original forum not shut down, I will close down my own board. However, that seems unlikely, and it's better to make eDGe users aware of this new forum, before the official one shuts down. Don't you agree?

PS: By any chance, do you have a framed needlepoint plaque hanging up somewhere in your kitchen or living room, that declares (in pretty shades of pink, blue and green):

This I find to be quite rude, and is assuming many things about me that simply aren't true. You can read the rest of the thread, but I think you might find that he was a bit off(you are entitled to you own opinion of course, just my thoughts).

I just went back to that forum, and saw your comment: snarky at best. You and Sarah have been banned, and you both deserve it. Because you act so nice on this board, I too am surprised by your post at EdgeHacker. Nonetheless, that's the reality.

That's an outright lie, "sugar". Anyone who bothers to read that thread, will see that emusan's remarks have been mostly lies, snarkiness, and obfuscation. Why on earth you want to take his side, is beyond me. Nonetheless, that's the bed you made for yourself, you have to sleep in it.

Also a lie. I'm sure it's purely a form of self defense...that as the gossip continues to be perpetrated by emusan and his disciples (like yourself and Sarah), he wants to keep the proof available for all to see, and decide for themselves...instead of being deceived by wicked sorts like yourself.

More deception. Edge Hacker was unkindly attacked by emusan the troll. Most people see through that, are joining his board, and supporting him. Only a few are trying to turn this into some sort of online war: The Entourage Cyberbullies vs. Edge Hackers Forum.

I think he was being polite. Should've called you a byatch. I had no idea how seriously f*cked your little clique is here...I had enough of an idea to quit posting, but now I see how badly messed up some regulars are, on this board. You guys need serious medication and psychotherapy, because what you're all perpetrating is an ugly thing to witness.

At the risk of starting another horrid thread, can you really say you've read every post there? I have, heck I've posted half of them. You will notice that I never once insulted him or his character(until maybe the end), but his first post in response to mine did just that, as well as the next, and so on. Also note that I was one of the few(only?) people there answering newbies questions. For example, he recently made a statement that there are no backup apps for n900, when in fact there are many, when I corrected them he insulted me. He is currently in a religious/ethical debate with another user(who I don't think belongs to this board, but I may be wrong). If you still want to stand up for him I'm okay with that, but at least try to see it from our side.

Hey ezekielk, since this is the thread for "What's Your Favorite App," which of those non-Christian, spiritual-type apps are your favorite? I mean, are any of them actually any good? How easy are they to search? Annotate? Any good commentary included? Are they stable (especially on our PE's)?

I expect that most of us here are mature enough to allow other users the latitude of answering the "favorite app" question honestly, without feeling any need to censure or counter-balance their input. I mean, if the next 20 posts are for apps relating to pornography, drug use, racism, violence, etc., I'm not going to get mad (assuming those really are the favorite apps of the posters)...I'm just not going to d/l any of those apps!

Yes, two boards on the same subject is about as much as I have time to browse. As long as entourage's forum is still up then Mobileread is enough for me.

I looked at xda -- does it have a section for the edge? I see sections for every other android device under the sun, but didn't see a section for edge. Found a (long) thread about hacking something on the PE. Is there much else on XDA that's specific to edge?

I wouldn't count on this forum being up for long, given that they've already said they'll only be in operation through today. I think this is it, folks. The End.

They did say that they would keep up registration for the foreseeable future, hopefully this also includes the forums, but its really all up in the air unless someone from entourage can clear it up(unlikely given the amount of their involvement in the forums recently).

I would imagine the plan is to keep only the registration server only in operation, not the website.

When did they say this? Maybe I missed a post?
