Iliad Java Scribble Merger

Could this https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...cribble+merger

be modified for the DR1000? With respect, I cannot make head nor tail of the instructions for the current DR1000 merge on this forum. Reasons why it may be possible, well:

When you export a file to MyScript Notes, it generates:

a pdf file
a "scribble.irx" file

On the iLiad, there is:

a pdf file
a "scribble.irx"
a manifest.xml

The ".xml" appears to be a description of the document details but it is a bit too techie for me.

I was wondering, is there a way of creating the manifest.xml automatically to allow the old Iliad Java Scribble Merger to work (the one on MobileRead)? This worked like a dream for the Iliad and it would seem that the .irx file is the same (as MyScript can read it) and so the only main difference is the file description in the manifest?

I am extremely frustrated by the lack of ability to merge scribbles with files and the one being developed for the DR1000s at the moment is not really usable or installable for a technical idiot like me.

What do you think? Is it possible for windows?
