Calibre dark theme on Windows 10 - how??
Looking for any information on how to change Calibre's color scheme to something darker, as the default scheme is quite hard on the eyes, especially at night. My current specs are as follows:
- Calibre v3.34 - Windows 10 Professional, release 1803 According to previous threads I've found on this topic, I should be able to make this work by changing my Windows colour themes to something darker, and telling Calibre to use the system defaults (Preferences->Look & Feel->User interface style->System Default). However, this does not seem to work, even after confirming my settings in both Windows and Calibre. For some reason the settings will not take, no matter what I try. What am I missing here? Is there any other way to make this work? I am willing to dig deeper into Calibre configuration and advanced settings if need be - I just want to get this working. Thanks. |

The Job Spy plugin has some tools for playing with colours etc, see Index of plugins
If you have any questions about the plugin post them in in the plugin thread BR Last edited by BetterRed; 11-25-2018 at 05:11 PM. |
