Edit metadata for books already transferred to the Kindle 2?
I'm trying to edit metadata for books already downloaded onto the Kindle 2, but Calibre won't let me - the metadata button is grayed out when switched to the device view.
Is there a reason that Calibre won't let users edit the metadata for books after being transferred to the Kindle 2? Is this a bug? |

On device metadata editing is not support for the kindle family, mainly because the kindles unlike the sony readers dont have a nice centralized metadata cache that can be easily updated.
