Potential Kindle 2 owner has question
Okay, I've read all the stuff on why there isn't a password on the Kindle 2, but all of the responses revolve around personal security. My question is a little different. What about parental controls??? There's a lot of garbage out there that can be downloaded by underage kids. Is there a solution to this problem?

Welcome to MobileRead, rojota.
The solution to this problem is the same as for them being on computers, or watching TV. Its a parental issue. you need to be able to trust your kids enough to allow them to use the device without worrying about what they download. Anything they do download from Amazon immediately appears on your Amazon account.......giving parents a history to go by. |
