I have just added a hidden bbcode generator to generate a forum post for a new release. See if you can find it! Hint: try different filters.

It generates bbcode like the following:

Kobo Firmware 4.4.9298

Kobo firmware 4.4.9298 has been released. As of May 15, 2017, it has been released to the devices: Kobo Glo HD, Kobo Touch 2.0, Kobo Aura ONE, Kobo Aura Edition 2. It has not been released to the: Kobo Touch A/B, Kobo Touch C, Kobo Mini, Kobo Glo, Kobo Aura, Kobo Aura HD, Kobo Aura H2O. As far as I know, the Aura H2O2 is a Mark 6 device, so it look fine.

On a different note, the non-Mark 6 devices all have "Rakuten- 439084" as the release date. Is that intended?

David, are you sure about that? I just looked up what I did in KSM in terms of identification. There I see:

370 ) PRODUCT_ID=0x4213;;
371 ) PRODUCT_ID=0x4223;;

375 ) PRODUCT_ID=0x4226;;

And from some other notes of mine I see that I classified 374 as unknown model. And 375 I took as the new model (I cannot remember whether we knew already the name H2O Ed. 2 at that time. I have to admit that I cannot exactly remember what was the base of what I did.
Any ideas to that?

@tshering: "00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000374" was the only id added to the recent firmware. 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000373 and 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000375 where added for the Aura Edition 2 and Aura ONE. I remember wondering about the missing number at the time. This suggests it's been planned for a while.

For the PRODUCT_ID, the Aura H2O2 is 0x4227. That came from the firmware but I have confirmed it with Kobo. I don't have any use for the other id, so I didn't check it.

Thank you for your explanation. You are of course right. In a moment of confusion, I was yesterday unaware of that I still have to update the KSM patch for the AURA H202. The code I posted above is from January, and the model I noted as unknown then, turned out to be AURA H202.
