Things slowed down over December and the New Year, but I'm happy to report that I got the first draft finished this evening.

It came in at 76,699 words in the end, which is a bit light, but I can feed more development into the next draft, before chopping loads of words out as I edit.

Anyway, time to park it for a month or two to get some distance.
