convert mp3 music to .aax and play on koa2
i wonder play music on my koa2,
is there any tool can convert mp3 to aax file? anyone tried to play music on koa2?

Is there a player included on the koa2? I know I needed to add mplayer to my k3 to play music. Perhaps you will need to do the same with the koa2. If you install mplayer then you play the mp3 files directly. If there is a player already there I would be surprised if it can't play an mp3 file.

Koa2 has an audible player. I don't think it plays mp3s anymore. Apparently it used to on older kindle models.

I was just wondering if there was any way to play music on the audible player of the new paperwhite. Did converting the mp3 to aac work for the koa?

No tool to my knowledge is capable of converting TO .aax at the moment.

Bug opened and then closed 10 minutes later as "Won't fix".

*.aax requires DRM and you can bet that Audible will only recognize Amazon's (or their own) DRM methods.
Not something easy to reverse-engineer.

Closed with an amazing reason to boot too.

EDIT: Now reopened.

I'm not knowledgeable about the DRM used but I'd be surprised if someone reversed decryption but it was a huge problem to make out encryption again.
