Fiction. I sometimes will buy a bio or a fiction book loosely based on a true event. I also like true crime stories

At first thought, I was thinking 80% fiction, 20% non-fiction. Lo and behold, Storygraph shows 82% fiction and 18% non-fiction! Pretty close! I used to read 100% fiction, but the last couple of years, non-fiction has started sneaking in there.

Just about the same proportion for me. I used to read mostly fiction but now my reading is more balanced.

85% fiction, 15% non. I go thru spells of just fiction, but often have a piece of long non-fiction I'll slowly work through. Right now I'm working on The Splendid and the Vile about Winston Churchill and WW2. I'll pretty much read anything about Churchill, FDR, and Teddy. No Ordinary Time is another book I enjoyed about WW2.
I like reading about Mt. Everest as well, and China. Some of the non-fiction about China has been difficult to get through, from an emotional standpoint. I don't like historical fiction. Not sure why. |

2-3 nonfiction a year, the rest fiction. So, roughly 95% fiction.
