Err, this isn't running off Bluetooth either, just hardwired.

Isn't 11.5v low for a car battery voltage?

Well, the internal measurement is reading a bit low, but the battery itself is generally pretty low. Anyway, it always starts. And if it didn't, I could just switch in my "house" battery which is always nicely charged on solar. Today, for instance:

Edit: I checked the battery today directly, it's at 11.75 V. It's 3.5 years old. I should get a new one. The alternator's ok.

I mostly use my oasis, but I have a paperwhite also sitting on my bedside table. But they don't have the same books on them, so when I get a low battery warning on my oasis, I usually just plug it in and go to sleep.

The Largest screen i have i the Oasis 3 and I prefer it. I wouldn't mind it going up slightly but something like the Scribe is too large seeming for me

I was an Oasis reader prior to getting my Scribe. I read that or my Sage. If the Scribe had buttons I'd probably not have bought the Sage.

I use my Scribe almost exclusively for doing puzzles I send from the newspaper in a pdf each day. I do most of my reading on my Oasis and Clara, but sometimes I enjoy reading in two column view on my Scribe. I selected "no difference" as best fit although it doesn’t tell the whole story.
