Help for conversion

Hi! I must convert a HUGE mobi file to azw3 format.
I tried with calibre and it seem's to take an era!
Do you know any alternative software or other solutions?
Any suggestion is welcome

You could use kindleunpack to unpack the MOBI and then use kindlegen or the Kindle Previewer to turn that into a Master MOBI. The Master MOBI will be a bit larger than a plain AZW3 file, but it will work the same in newer kindle devices.

Kindleunpack is available stand-alone or as a calibre plugin. It will produce a set of files. Use the one named content.opf as the input to kindlegen or Kindle Previewer. If you use Kindle Previewer you save the Master MOBI using the File->Export menu choice.

There's a calibre subforum here; try there. You may have some conversion setting that's not needed that's slowing it down.

My only other suggestion is to be patient, turn off your computer's sleep setting, and start the conversion before you go to bed.
