I've heard a pencil eraser will do it.... Failing that maybe something like this? Link

toothpaste may also work if the scratch isn't too deep.

Well sad to say neither the toothpaste nor the eraser worked but my reader is now minty fresh
The scratches were actually made by the stylus, is that a defect :

I don't think I'll try the stuff on Amazon since the reviews weren't very positive and I dont want to spend $11 for nothing.

Thanks anyway guys at least we tried

Laugh well at least it will smell good now. If the stylus made the scratches maybe you should contact FW? You'd only be out the time to write an email with a couple pictures.

Well, it was bound to happen, www.ebookwise.com no longer sells units WITH a SmartMedia (SM) card included, be it 32MB, 64MB or 128MB.

Your choices to purchase the unit are now limited to:
1. the eBookwise-1150 with 64MB internal memory (and no SM card included); or
2. the eBookwise-1150 with 8MB internal memory (and no SM card included but will accept your own SM card, if you can find one...)

Those wishing to acquire EBW1150 with SM cards included are advised to check ebay or other auction websites.
