Font size changes suddenly on PocketBook Touch HD3

I have for three weeks now used my new PocketBook Touch HD3 and I love it!

BUT!

When reading .epub with default font it suddenly changes to a smaller or bigger font size on the screen (no changes in the settings, still same font size there). It is very random, I can read for an hour and then it suddenly changes without me touching anything. Texts within <i> keep the size though!

I am in contact with PocketBook and I hope they will be able to help me.
So far I have made:
1, a factory reset (I had loads of other strange things happening with the e-reader before doing this).
2, formatted internal memory.
3, reinstalled the software.

No change. Other formats works (.mobi, .rtf, .pb2) and if I change the font type it also keeps the size. But doing those changes means that there are other issues with the layout of text. So I really want this to work as it is supposed to.

Anyone else with these kind of problems?

I got it on Pocketbook HD2. For me helped factory reset. But sometimes it is problem with epub format. So try to reconvert it to epub. I made it in Calibre.

You mean that I convert from epub to epub?

That would mean that the problem lays within the e-book? But it is not only one book,it is all the epub-books I have tried. That makes me think it is a problem with the e-bookreader.

Or Calibre ... I am trying to remember if I have transferred books that has not been in contact with Calibre. That is one more thing to try, I suppose. But I am pretty sure I have tried it.

Yes
I mean convert epub to epub. It helps me lot of times also when it was original epub from publisher. I tried lot of programs for converting but Calibre was always better.
Here is exact instruction from Pocektbook help

10/2019)

"In this case we recommend to perform internal memory formatting.
Settings - Maintenance - Format Internal Memory.
Please note, when formatting all user files will be deleted.
To save user files you need to copy them on your computer or Micro SD card.

Connect to computer, select PC connect, open Pocketbook folder and copy all user files.
Or open library on your device, select folders, press the necessary file for about 3 seconds and choose File - Move - Back - SD card - Select."

It was a bit interesting ...

I had a discussion back and forth with PocketBook and we tried different things, nothing helped. Then it was suddenly silence from their side and I thought ah well, covid-19 ... Then there was suddenly an update on the e-reader. So I installed it and their solution was to change the default font to a sans-font, problem solved!

Well, a few days later there was a new update and it was back to the first font and it seems that I do not have the problem any more with the font changing size! They fixed it!

I assume that there now are other strange things going on is a different matter. For me it is that every time I open the book to read it jumps back one or two pages. A bit annoying.
