Jointech Je100 Firmware Help

Thanks Frankr. I can read the card in computer mode but not in ereader mode. i can see the books on the card but cant open them in computer mode. and cant get the ereader to see the card.

Hi Leigh, I think all you need to do is install some ereader software for the type of ebook your trying to read. My favorite is ubook, but zuluReader and mobipocket reader are also good choices. Usually you just download the cab file from the software's site and copy that cab file onto you memory card for the je100. Then you windows explorer on your je100 to find and double click on that file to install it.

Hi Guys,

I have the same problem, my JE100 wont boot up, stays frozen....

May require a reload of some sort of either wince or firmware.

I just dont know how or what app to use :-( your help is greatly appriciated.

Welcome, saxproff!

IMHO, the only thing that we can do before sending it off for repair is to flash a new ROM. The link to Jointech given above is still working. Check it out, all the info is there.

Hi, You can try these 2 options:

1. Take out the battery, press the on button couple of times, put back the battery and
switch on back. Normally, it works for me.
2. Buy the nokia E71 original battery instead of using the stock tablet battery.

If both unsuccessful, no choice other than use the wall socket to power on. and slot back the battery. Good luck

It sounds as if your battery is dead, or at least nearly so. Does it stay on if you unplug?
