Keemun Xian Zhen, second steeping. This is easily the best Keemun I've had. A shame it is so expensive. But a lovely treat. With a piece of carrot birthday cake.

Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel Never ending or beginning On an ever spinning reel Like a snowball down a mountain Or a carnival balloon Like a carousel that’s turning Running rings around the moon Like a clock whose hands are sweeping Past the minutes of it's face And the world is like an apple Whirling silently in space Like the circles that you find In the windmills of your mind ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haV2ZflrSMY ) Good morning, everyone! What a great concept; 'windmills of your mind.' Who thinks these things up?!? Today is the day for more of my new 'English Breakfast' tea. I'm really glad that I discovered this tea shop. Nice to have a tea that I really love so accessible. Raining gently outside and I've been putting off going down to see the Food Lady, but I think it's going to stop in a few minutes. Regardless, an umbrella seems to work pretty well if needed. Good thing too, cuz I'm getting hungry and I'm too lazy to cook breakfast myself! Stitchawl |

Mug o' tea #1 prior to bringing the bulky comforter to the laundromat. The weather has cooled enough that it's reasonable to think we might, some night, need it on the bed. And it's bulky enough that it won't fit in a home washing machine.

He is now to be among you at the calling of your hearts
Rest assured this troubador is acting on his part. The union of your spirits, here, has caused him to remain For whenever two or more of you are gathered in his name There is love. there is love. A man shall leave his mother and a woman leave her home And they shall travel on to where the two shall be as one. As it was in the beginning is now and til the end Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again. And there is love. there is love. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0StdlcnKlRA ) After 25 years together, some friends of mine will get married this afternoon, and have asked me to play this at the ceremony. A happy chore! Good morning, everyone! The seventh day of the ninth month of the rest of our lives. A good day to do what ever we'd like! And so I'm drinking Taylors of Harrogate's "English Breakfast" tea, eating a veggie omelet and a bowl of Khao Soi, and changing the strings on my guitar. I hope the weather cooperates for this afternoon's affair. Should be a lot of fun. Good food, a lot of good musicians jamming, good karma... I like weddings. I guess that's why I've had so many... Finishing the last of my sweet tea after a couple of bottles of water. It was hot today and still 80F tonight. It won't be below 100F until about Wednesday.
I really want my evening coffee, but I think I will hold off on that for a while. |

A Coke Zero after breakfast. Some might think it's a bit early in the day, but not me.
