Entourage eDGe competitor from MSI

No words on pricing or availability yet, but a sneak peak from Engadget at CES in Vegas - looks pretty slick, running full blown Win7.

Nice, they did it without that huge bezel and with full Win 7. If Courier never shows up, this would be a nice substitute.

This one doesn't have one e-ink screen like the Entrouage but it is much nicer looking.

Getting rid of that huge bezel helped with the looks. This looks more like the (mythical) Courier was supposed to. I don't see the independent operation of each screen though, like the (mythical) Courier demos had. I'll be watching this. I like the Entourage Edge concept too, though, with one e-ink, one LCD, but I also love having the full OS available to me. I'd probably sacrifice the e-ink before I'd sacrifice the OS functionality. But that's just me.

I agree - the eDGe concept is amazing, particularly the powerful notes capabilities...but assuming similar features could be incorporated into the MSI concept, having a full blown Win OS is pretty intriguing. It will be interesting to see where MSI prices this thing, if it comes to market.
