Update library cover art after re-download of edited book ?
How do I get the Glo to display the cover art of a book which was deleted and then re-downloaded with a new cover ?.
I have tried deleting it via calibre as well, but, the Glo just wont update the book in it's main library with the new cover.

try powering off and restarting the device.

If that doesn't work, let us know some more details: By downloading do you mean books you have bought and downloaded directly from Kobo to the device, by wifi or via the Kobo desktop app? Or do you mean sideloaded, either by drag and drop or via Calibre?

That worked.

I sideloaded from Calibre.

Seems that the solution to anything from the house of "Kobo" is switch it off, and if that doesn't work, do a factory reset and reload the firmware.....(sarcasm intended).

As an explanation of what happened:

The firmware caches cover images for performance. That way it doesn't have to reread them from the drive. If you replace the cover image, something has to trigger a reread of the file or it is no longer being used and is dropped from the cache. For the old style home page, the main cover was dropped from the cache when the book stopped being on the home page. With the new home page and firmware, this isn't the case. Doing a restart will force the cache to be rebuilt.

But, deleting a book and the image not being removed from the cache is a bug. Hopefully Kobo will fix it, but I can see that it would be a low priority.
