I can not add fonts to my Onyx Boox Note Air 2 FW 3.5.4

Good morning

Trying to add extra fonts to my Onyx Boox device and it doesn't seem to work.
I download and try with both formats ttf and otf, copy to Fonts folder in the root but nothing shows up on the font selection menu from the reader software.
I tried on epub formated texts.

I try with another reader (Moon+) and the fonts worked on the device

I check on all the tabs (CJK, English & System)... normally they may show up on the system menu doesn't it?)

I'm not even sure how sideloaded fonts are supposed to work in the stock reader.
I put my fonts in sdcard/Fonts and my own reader knows to look there.

Ok, seems to be a problem w the v2 engine on the bundle reader...
Solution would be to disable the V2 engine, copy the fonts, select them and then go back to V2 only then the reader recognize them

If you create a “fonts” folder on your device and put the .ttf files there, that might work. I did this on my new Note4C and NeoReader saw them under the import tab right away. Adding the same fonts as system fonts didn’t do anything.
