Scottish author J Storer Clouston (1870-1944) wrote many novels and a quantity of short stories.
This amusing short novel (51,000 words) tells of a German naval officer landed on a remote Scottish island during WW1, and his encounters with the locals as he makes contact with an agent in place. This work is assumed to be in the Life+70 public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution.
