Oh, THAT could explain why I've had fewer problems than others here. A few 404's after a search, but not dreadfully.

I use smile.amazon.com and I have had plenty of problems. Including everything disappearing from my cart.

I have not yet seen a $1 digital credit for slow shipping offer yet.

Ordered the complete Malazan Book of the fallen ($79.82) on Kindle, 30% credit on that will be very nice.
Already owned 3 and 5 (and have a couple in paperback) so a bit of a waste, but not too bad. Last edited by GreenMonkey; 07-17-2018 at 02:13 AM. |

We’ve had no website problems in the U.K. but then, imo, Prime Day deals are crap over here. I’ve bought nothing. The only offer I really wanted, 40% off KU when pre paying 2 years, isn’t even offered over here. It has been before but for some reason they decided not to offer it this year.
Other things i’ve looked at were cheaper before Prime Day, prices went up for the deals. |

Nothing in the US that interested my wife and I. She had some specific ideas on what she wanted and none were discounted.

I purchased a couple of Instant Pot accessories that were 25% off... a spare pot and a silicone lid. I attempted to do a lightning deal in the afternoon that didn't want to get added to my cart, and by the time it did, the deal was over. Ah well.

Pretty much nothing I saw other than the $5 on $25 gift card offer, the 30% credit on one Kindle book offer, and the $5 off a DTB book that I used on a book for my father-in-law for Christmas...all generic offers that are nice, but not spectacular. And, as someone else said upthread, it's disappointing that the gift card bonus offer is so small this year.
At least this year they put the "30% off first Kindle book of the day" offer right over by the "buy" button. Last year, I didn't know about the similar offer, ended up buying a $0.99 book as my first Kindle book of the day, and got a few pennies of credit. This year, I splurged on not waiting for Ovidia Yu's new Betel Nut Tree Mystery to drop in price, so purchased it at $5.99 and got $1.80 in credit. Better than pennies, anyway... Seems to me each year "Prime Day" has gotten worse and worse, especially if you are not in the Amazon eco-system for home/internet-of-things, which we aren't... |

A $50 Amazon Gift Certificate is $25. Buy extra, apply to your account and then you can get non-sale items for half off.

It looks like they had a limit for total available. My brother tried to get them some hours after me and it just loops or doesn't show the discount. The Petco and AMC Theater discounted gift cards are also gone.
