Calbre 5.2.0 on Windows Server 2008

Today I tried to update Calibre with 5.2.0 (64bit) and noted that I get a message "Only supported on Windows 8 and above".
Currently I am running on 4.9.1 which runs fine on Windows Server 2008. Is this some sort of oversight or deliberately inserted with version 5.x.x?
I use the server to share my free books with my family.

Regards Kees.

Windows Server 2008 is based the the same core as Windows Vista. Calibre 5.x is intended for installation on newer operating system. Even calibre 4.x was not recommended for installation on Windows 7 due to issues between QT and older video drivers.

It is probably a Python 3 thing.
I don't know how many folk run Calibre on the 'server' product line, but wasn't that cW7? (which is also out)
