Question A future GUI?
Gianfranco, a question: Will there ultimately be an easy-to-use GUI for the search? I looked at the wiki and am impressed with what you have done but also realize that command lines are very far from my comfort level (I think it has to do with age -- the older I get the less flexible I seem to be ).

Anyway, have some karma for all your good work.

Yes, that problem is related to you having a Java Runtime Environment with version 5. I know that MacOs for some reason har JRE 5 and not JRE 6, I will recompile the project with JRE 5 and put it as a separate zip.

This has been fixed, so that everyone running with a JRE v5 can use jam.
Download the correct version for you (using JRE 5) here

Yes indeed, the project will also generate (is generating) a hosted web page which lets you search and such. I added the client thingy since it's really neat for (most linux) users since the result can be manipulated and redirected etc.
