embed cover art into book text ?

I want to force existing cover cover art to also be 1st "readable" page

so that when my Kindle opens a new book ( after epub to mobi convert) , or does a "go to beginning" it "opens" by showing their front covers

my default Kindle will not do that - it skips over the cover art in titlepage, and displays the start of text. it is possible to view the cover only by pressing naviagate left at that point.

in order to create an epub which will outwit the Kindle, after converting epub to Mobi, I think that i need to copy the html body of titlepage into the top of my 1st book page , before thy actual text ?

will that work & is that the slickest solution

I don't know about the Kindle but on my Kobo it shows the First TOC entry, when opening the book.

Use my tool I just published to do this Just edit the TOC and Just add the titlepage at the very beginning. You should see the cover page when opening it.

No just those 3 thread I guess, I looked for anyone having problem that this could fix.
