That would be an LCD screen like the new Nook colour.

I get a headache reading for less than 30 minutes on backlit LCD, so not for me sadly.

I use my kobo to read books so the lcd screen doesn't interest me. A unit that could display in colour would be interesting for magazines but I'd be happier if they came up with colour e-ink.

Since I only read books on my Kobo, I don't know how interested I would be in a color display, but it looks like it's coming.

The new technology, called E Ink Triton, displays 16 shades of gray, along with thousands of colours. As with other E Ink displays, people should be able to read it anywhere without having to squint.

I don't get a headache but I find my eyes start to get tired when I try to read long articles or books. I am now transferring study notes to my Kobo so I can concentrate better - it really works.
Perhaps I would be interested in a larger screen colour e-ink device - for books with lots of illustrations - but black and white is just fine for reading text on a smaller device.

If you read the whole thing it was a prank it says the back and home buttons are in the same place as the cruz tablet
