This current series is VERY scary. The most recent 2-part story was a real "hide behind the sofa" one .

I'll have to sit down sometime and work out how to knit a Dalek. Harry's would be a nice model to knit.
Actually crochet would be easier..... |

IIRC, the BBC was upset over the publishing of the pattern not the actual photos. When I get around to it, I'll post a picture.

Ironically, a colleague of mine DID knit a Tardis as part of The Big Knit; she did a fairy too, just made it up as she went along, so no patterns, but I'll bet she's having second thoughts about even sending it in after all this fuss!

Well, I'm glad the Ood are back with some explanations, because I always felt there ought to have been more to that story. I don't know as we need a scarier season, though. My 17-year-old daughter watches from behind a pile of pillows and blankets as it is.
(I shouldn't tease-- I'm not crazy about suspense myself. But having her ducking and shrieking didn't make it any easier to watch the "Weeping Angel" episode. Still, it's about the only thing we can do together these days, so we'll hang in there.) |

ooh ! blink ! that *was* scary. although i did not shriek once, i am proud to say. brillant though, one of the better ones, despite the fact that the doctor was almost completely absent from it. did you hear ? the guy who wrote taht one has taken over for the new series, instead of whatsisname... russell t davies ? is that him ? anyway i think that's pretty good news.
