How do I delete a series name I misspelled in the metadata drop down box

I misspelled a series name in the metadata. I then corrected it, but it kept both versions. How do I delete the misspelled one so it doesn't show up as a choice?

If it kept the old version, there is at least one book still using it. Go into the tag browser and fix the spelling of the bad one there - right click and rename. It will simply merge with the correct one, and any book using it will be corrected. Then the misspelled one should disappear from the choices.

@sleepy6553 - you can also correct these sort of mistakes via the Manage categories tool (you'll need to add it to a toolbar or menu), it presents flat lists of Authors, Series, Publishers etc, which I prefer to leaves of branching trees.

Thank you! There was one straggler with the misspelled series. It's fixed now.
