Virtual PC / XP

Running Win 7 Profesional on a fairly decent computer using a CPU that supports virtualization you can download & install XP (from MS) as a virtual computer. Very easy to do.

Using Calibrre on Win 7 I get;
ERROR: ERROR: Unhandled exception: <b>x_wmi</b>:-0x7ffbefed - OLE error 0x80041013

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\dialogs\config\device_debug. py", line 41, in debug
File "site-packages\calibre\devices\__init__.py", line 66, in debug
File "site-packages\wmi.py", line 703, in query
File "site-packages\wmi.py", line 189, in handle_com_error
x_wmi: -0x7ffbefed - OLE error 0x80041013

OK I know that there is no real fix for that, but when I run Virtual PC / XP I get;

Version: 0.6.32

"Save to disk", "drag and drop" does get the books to the Sony reader. But to use any other type of organization on the reader it seems to be calibre or the truly awful Sony software.
