RAM partition
Hi, is it possible to resize the RAM partition of a KT2.0's SD card ?
(I know that the kobo uses a part of the sd card as RAM memory, so would make it wider) |

It looks like the Touch 2.0 has an internal MicroSD card, so yes you can. I have read that the back comes off, so it should be fairly easy to do. A guide to the basic process.

Why do you need more RAM?
Swap, but AFAIK, the Kobo doesn't have a swap partition (or file for that matter). It only has the 25mb at the beginning for U-Boot and Linux, the ext4 rootfs (mounted on /), the ext4 recoveryfs (mounted on / in recovery mode), and the FAT32 KOBOeReader partition (mounted on /mount/onboard). |
