I'm fed up with the hot weather. In Sydney it shouldn't be 35°C for days on end in April. Yesterday the Cooks River valley was full of smoke from hazard reduction burns, today its full of smoke from wild fires on the outskirts of Sydney.

We emerged from early March yesterday and today to spend a couple of days in early June. Temperatures were in the mid to high 80s (F) with sunny skies and a gentle breeze.
Tomorrow we go back to March with an expected high in the 40s. We might make it back up to the low 50s by the end of the week. |

Buried under snow, about 18 inches since Friday. Too tired to read after shoveling, but audio books are going well. Supposed to get another four inches today and then it will be done.

Chilly and rainy for the second day in a row, also the 2nd Indian's home game cancelled due to weather. Hubby doesn't get that many chances to sit and watch an entire game, so we are both disappointed. Although I like watching baseball probably more than he does.
I guess we will binge on the new Lost in Space on Netflix instead. |

Today it was 24C and sunny, tomorrow it'll be even warmer at 27C.
The hot weather has come early this year. I wanted to see what sunglasses one Dutch department store had in stock. I clicked on the women section, then on the accessories section and I couldn't the sunglasses. I did find the subsections scarfs, gloves and (winter)hats. And although I agree that those are very effective to prevent sunburns it wasn't the look I was going for. |

The sun's shining, it's 20C+ and my cats are sensibly sleeping in the shade of the overgrown bushes which surround my garden. This is probably the first really nice day we've had this year in Birmingham, I'm not sure about the rest of the UK. I hope we'll have a long hot summer after the horrid long and cold winter just passed.
