two Cover making resources

Has anyone here used the Paint.net program or pixabay.com for creating covers for their books? I'm reading Robert Trainor's book about writing and he suggests those resources for coming up with good covers.

Don't know, Sorry. But I use The Gimp as an editor (even though I've got CS6 installed)

I did install paint.net and it seems to resemble gimp a bit. I imagine that's normal as there will be similarities in code probably when you have two different programs for the same thing being compared.

I tried Paint.net some time ago. It struck me as being very similar to Gimp, which I was already using. I decided to stick with Gimp. And these days I'm mostly on a Linux computer -- I don't think Paint.net is available for Linux.

I've never heard of Pixabay. I'll have to look into it. Thanks!

I've used Gimp, but I'm currently creating with Canva. (I'm on a Chromebook.) https://www.canva.com/
