1.5 Firmware

Hey all. I haven't been hanging around the MR forums for a couple of months now. Seems to me last time I was here there was talk of an imminent firmware update to 1.5. So I wait a respectable amount of time and come back here to look for it and I see nothing. Has it been released? Has it been abandoned? I'm a patient guy but come on Kobo, there's way too much competition out there to let your existing customers just hang in the breeze. Can anyone give me any kind of firm answer?

Firmware update for the original kobo is in beta now. Hang in there...

I'd like to kindly request that people stop posting threads titled "Firmware 1.5" or "Firmware 1.7" etc. I get all excited thinking that the firmware has been released for Kobo1, and click on it only to find that it's just questions about when the firmware is coming out etc.
