Can you verify the warranty is transferable? Most of them are only valid to the original purchaser.

Actually if you call Amazon Kindle CS they can verify this, also the information on the Service Net (Amazon) warranty and the fact that it IS indeed transferable is there on Amazon's site..

Also the Service Net Extended Warranty is linked to the specific Kindle's serial #, and NOT to the purchaser per se'.
