Gesture to unlock/wake up Kindle
Can I unlock my Kindle with gestures (double tap, swipe, anything works for me) in KOReader? My 2016 Kindle's power button is jammed so the only way right now to use it is by plugging it in and out of a USB power source. Can I set up gestures to wake it up? Open to coding or writing my own plugins, but I would like to know if that's even possible. Thanks!

Make sure to assign it while you are in Reader and FM separately

Is it correct? Wake up and exit screensaver are not the same.

 .We can't control what's a wakeup source (especially on Kindle), so, no, you do need to trip the wakeup via something that the kernel/dtb does flag as a wakeup source (and that's generally the power button, the rtc, and possibly plug/unplug/charge on some devices). |

why don't you buy a magnetic case? seems like a much more reasonable solution to trigger screen on/off.
