Auto Detect Authors From HTML?
Long time user of Calibre here stuck on a conversion problem.
When using the ebook-convert command line tool, is there any way to auto detect the authors from the contents of the HTML input file when exporting to EPUB? If so, is there any way to place this in the metadata of the exported EPUB file similar to how the title is automatically extracted from the <title> tags? I ask this because in the output to ebook-convert it states 'Creator not specified' and for the life of me I can't figure out how to specify the creator. I realise I could do so in the command itself but that would be somewhat time consuming for batch conversions (to be honest I prefer to stay out of the main program if I can). Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |
