Comic books
I will be receiving my Sony prs-505 tomorrow, and have plans in reading a huge amount of comic books PDFs I have stored digitally on my computer.
Is the device usable and responsive for a ~20mb comic book PDF? What are your performance/usability experiences with large formats with the device? |

Chances are your comic PDFs are just images on a page without real PDF content (vector images, rendered text, etc), so the reflowing won't help you.
If your comic books are American sized, you'll need to do something to help you. What might help is telling your 505 to work with a landscape screen orientation. This cuts the pages up into halves, so you have more screen real estate to fit your content into. If your comic books are Japanese sized, resizing shouldn't be a problem. |
